How We Do It

Since there will be more than one team, multiple books may be worked on at the same time during this project. But no team will be expected to handle more than one book at a given time. This is to respect the time constraints that many team members are likely to have.

Note: The word ‘book’ on this page refers to any of the individual books that make up the Bible (such as Genesis, Exodus, Matthew, Revelations etc.).

Stage One

A team of readers (Team Insight) will read a book of the Bible and fill out a form. This form anonymously collects information about which Bible verses were unclear, which may appear to contradict other Bible verses, and which verses they’ve witnessed being used out of context. The form will allow readers to leave additional observations (if any). A team of assimilators will compile all these observations and concerns into a single document and send it to the translators and apologists.

Stage Two

The translators and apologists will work together to translate and annotate the Bible keeping the concerns of Team Insight in mind. While there may be overlap in their duties, the translators will focus largely on the text while the apologists will focus on the annotations.

Stage Three

The book will be worked on by the editorial team who will then send it out to an expert for an external review.

Stage Four

The book will be impartially evaluated by an expert not associated with Eternity Bible.

Stage Five

If the book receives satisfactory feedback it will return to the editorial team who will ready it for its digital and print release. If the external reviewer raises concerns there may be a repetition of earlier stages to address the issues raised.

Stage Six

When all the books of the Bible have been completed, they will be made available to the public, free of charge, online. A traditionally-published version of Eternity Bible will also be released.

There will be additional teams working behind the scenes to coordinate the project and work on other administrative tasks.

Would you like to be a part of the Eternity Bible project? Can you recommend us to interested people? Do you know of experts we can contact or resources we can use? Can you read a book of the Bible and tell us what your observations are? This is a massive, multifaceted project so if you want to be associated with it in any way there’s always something that your skills and time can achieve.
